Una Aamodt Mathisen has just started a new position as product lead and area manager for Storebrand Bank and Kron in the Storebrand group. She comes to Y with her story about how she solved the management task of developing 8 teams with a focus on deliveries individually, to become one big area with over 100 people into one large delivery machine.
With extensive experience in banking and finance, Una has developed a strong expertise in efficiency and digital transformation. Throughout her leadership and project management roles, she has embraced innovative work methods and tools, such as "Objectives and Key Results" (OKR), Β«tight-loose-tight" (TLT), and has firsthand knowledge of what truly works in practice.

Sickleave benefits (sykepenger) are, 'unfortunately,' one of the most popular benefits at NAV. In 2023, 61 billion NOK was paid out to nearly 1.5 million Norwegians. NAV began creating a new sickness benefit system in 2020. By 2022, the funds were depleted, deliveries were inadequate, and the atmosphere was frosty. Una was hired as a new addition to NAV to lead this area. Where does one begin, what have they learned, and where are they today?
