Ishita Barua

Ishita Barua is an AI scientist, medical doctor and serial founder. She holds a phd in AI in medicine, has been a guest lecturer at Harvard Medical School and in 2024 she received His Majesty the King of Norway's Gold Medal for her research. Phew! But she’s not stopping there! She’s the author of bestseller “Kunstig intelligens redder liv”, and she has a regular column in E24 about tech and innovation. Ishita is an associate professor of AI at the University of Agder. She is one of Norway’s 50 most prominent women in tech. She’s featured on Kapital’s 40 under 40. And she’s right now launching her new book “Techbros – og hvordan Europa kan lære å elske innovasjon”. As far as we know, her day contains the exact same number of hours as ours.
