Benjamin is a designer at Heydays since 2019. He works with visual identities, printed matter, websites and digital products. What ties it all together is an obsession with aesthetics and all kinds of visual communication. His interest in the craft of type design culminated in a Masterโs degree at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague (NL) in the spring of 2023.

As designers, weโve become incredibly competent at conversion. Our friction-free, sugary and slick interfaces create click-through-rates beyond belief. But what happened to our craft? At Heydays, weโve spent the past few years exploring what designers can do to drastically improve the way we interact with the world of the attention economy. The answer, we believe, is to go back to basics. We, as designers (and people working alongside designers), need to realise the responsibility we have to make beautiful things. Because it makes peopleโs lives better.
