RESPECT MY PRIVACY

When you join the conference, we get information about you and maybe your workplace. Here you can find out what information we collect, how we collect it and what we use it for.

NEWSLETTER

We send emails about the conference and other courses and conferences organized by Netlife. We use a system called Mailchimp to handle the list of those who receive emails. It is voluntary to subscribe - and you can opt-out at anytime.

In order to send newsletters, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe or the email address gives an error message.

WHAT DO WE MEAN BY PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Personal information is information that can be linked to a person, such as a name, place of residence, telephone number, email and work title. Netlife Design focuses on safeguarding and protecting our customers’ privacy. We process personal data in accordance with the legislation in force at any time, including in accordance with the Personal Data Act and the Personal Data Regulations.

WHY DO YOU NEED MY DATA?

When you join the conference you enter your name, place of work and email. We also ask for the organization number of the company you work for, invoice address and invoice reference. We want to give you the best experience at the conference, for example, if you’re in a wheelchair or need a deaf interpreter, please let us know.

We use a third party - CheckIn - to retrieve and process this information. We use this information to manage the conference (we will send you practical information by email, request an evaluation, bill you and make sure you get food and facilitation). The information about the employer is kept for a year and a half after the conference, for statistical reasons. CheckIn deletes your information one month after the conference, with the exception of billing info, which they are required to keep for five years.

WHAT ABOUT COOKIES?

Analytics

Yes! We collect statistics on how our webpage is used, to know which pages we should pay the most attention to and which ones can be improved or deleted. Piwik Pro uses cookies starting with _pk. We've turned on the "anonymizeIP" feature so your IP address won't be stored.

Facebook and Instagram (Meta)

Facebook cookies are marketing cookies, but they're kind of nice: they don't tell us who you are, but they tell Facebook that you've visited us. We use these to be able to show you ads, we have to be honest about that. Facebook uses it to show our content a little more often.

Facebook's cookies begin with _fb.

Linkedin

See Facebook above. The LinkedIn cookie works in the same way, letting LinkedIn know that you've shown interest in our content, and then they cook that into their algorithm. These cookies begin with _li.
